In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Elaborate dance numbers and rock songs reveal Frank-N-Furter’s latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
That “Sweet Transvestite” and the castle’s motley crew have done the “Time Warp” on Broadway in three unique productions: the original in 1975, a 25th-anniversary revival in 2001, and a 50th-anniversary revival in 2026. Complete with sass from the audience, cascading toilet paper and an array of other audience participation props, this deliberately kitschy rock ’n’ roll sci-fi Gothic musical is more fun than ever!
Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Janet Weiss have been cast . All other roles are available, open to any age (18+), ethnicity, disability or gender.
In addition to each individual being able to stand out, it is important that all cast members are able to function as an ensemble, without any feeling that any one stands out above the others. Other important traits to have for the roles are a sense of comic ability, and some skill at improvisation. You must be comfortable with performing in your underwear, heels, fishnets and corsets.
